The Ministry of Transport presents the Drone Forum focusing on the Colmar Brunton Survey: “New Zealand Drone Research.”

The Ministry of Transport (the Ministry), in partnership with the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) and Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment (MBIE), are pleased to host a presentation of the Colmar Brunton survey: New Zealand Drone Research.
In 2019, the Ministry, CAA and MBIE commissioned Colmar Brunton to undertake an in-depth research into New Zealand’s drone sector, recognising we all benefit from the research across our respective work streams. The purpose of the research was to address a current knowledge gap and to better understand drone usage in New Zealand.
This is an opportunity to hear from Colmar Brunton on the key findings, insights and methodology behind the survey. It will also include a question and answer session, followed by a cross-government update about how these results will influence work.
The Colmar Brunton Survey will be launched by the CAA on the 12 August 2020. We will be requesting questions from attendees in advance of the forum, by 19 August 2020.
