AirHub launches advanced new Drone Management App

The AirHub app is a handy tool for professional drone pilots. Not only does the app provide support during flight preparation, it is also possible to control your DJI drone
and log all data of your fl ight (automatically). Thanks to a major update, it is now also
possible to register incidents, record maintenance activities and show different map
layers.
By drone pilots, for drone pilots
The AirHub app is developed by drone pilots, for drone pilots. The idea is that the app
supports you in all aspects of flying drones professionally, including preparing your
fl ight. The app contains an interactive map with no-fly zones and an overview of the
current and expected weather conditions.
From the home screen it is possible to plan a fl ight on location through the built-in flight plan. Here you can, among other things, mark the area in which you will fly and add
notes, consent forms and documents. You can also indicate in the flight plan which
drone and battery (s) are flown and which other equipment (such as cameras) is used
during the flight. In the paid version it is also possible to go through checklists before
and after the flight.

Log automatically and directly
From the fl ight plan it is possible to log your fl ight directly, but if you fl y with a DJI drone it is also possible to fl y from the AirHub app. The functionalities are the same as the DJI apps. This has the advantage that you do not have to enter the flight times manually and

that extra data – such as the start and end percentages of the battery – are immediately
saved. In addition to logging fl ights, the AirHub app can also store a large number of other
data. Under the libary tab in the app you have a clear overview of all “assets” within your
organization. You can think not only of the drones, batteries and other equipment that
you use, but also of documents that you use within your organization – such as the
operational manual or the pilots’ certif i cates and certif i cates of the drone (s).
It is also possible for organizations to put together teams. As an administrator you can even determine which position – pilot, observer or payload operator – someone can
fulf i ll and you have an overview of the number of hours someone has fl own.

Update Recently, the iOS and Android version of the app received a major update. The app now offers the possibility to log maintenance activities and to report and follow up possible
incidents within the organization.
Also, many small improvements have been made such as some extra map layers
(including a satellite mode), extra data and documents can be added to a drone or

battery and the app automatically switches to team mode in the case of an EVLOS or
BVLOS fl ight.
Availabilty
The basic version of the AirHub app is free to download. You need to take out a
subscription for extensive functionalities, such as drawing up checklists and managing
teams. This can be done per month, per six months or per year.
The AirHub app is available for both iPhone and iPad and Android.
